First Aid Basics

No NZQA unit standards will be assessed or awarded.
Time Commitment: 6 hours of in-class practical

This course covers vital life-saving skills and basic first aid, offering a hands-on, flexible learning experience. Please note that no NZQA unit standards will be assessed or awarded.

Resuscitation & AED Use
Choking Management
Unconsciousness
Bleeding & Shock Control
Recognising and Managing Common Medical Conditions & Injuries

Whether you're looking to refresh your skills or learn new ones, this course equips you with the confidence to respond to emergencies.

Course Requirements

This course is conducted in English. CPR involves kneeling beside a manikin for at least 2 minutes.
