The course "Foundation First Aid" has finished Foundation First Aid is an 8-hour basic first aid course, ideal for home and low-risk workplaces. The Foundation First Aid course includes the following NZQA Unit Standards.

US 6402 (v9) Provide Basic Life Support: Covers life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, choking, severe bleeding, and shock. Includes scenario-based and written assessments.
Note: CPR requires kneeling beside a manikin. Please inform us in advance if this may be an issue.

US 6401 (v7) Provide First Aid: Covers recognition and management of common illnesses (asthma, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, seizures) and injuries (burns, fractures, soft tissue injuries, poisoning). Includes scenario-based assessments.
